In this week’s episode, I interview Jax Spencer of The Pole Academy. We talk about how she got started in the pole industry, moving from a home studio to a commercial space, creating You Know You’re a Poler When…, and working with different brands. 

Jax has been dancing for 13 years. She fell in love with pole dancing while working in a club. She mentions working at the club and then going home to practice new moves. Other dancers took notice and began asking Jax for lessons. She started her space as a home studio but was given the push she needed to move into a commercial space. The Pole Academy has been open in Greenville, South Carolina and has been actively thriving for 5 years!
